Project related to churches in Malta:

During March year 4 children from Marsaskala had the opportunity to use different IT equipment and software to produce a visual aid showing how our parish church looks from the inside and from the outside.

Life by the sea

Activity worked by grade 4 children in school Clondiru Romania

Here in Romania the weather is temperate, meaning that we usually have 4 seasons. December is the first winter month so usually we had a lot of snow, so much snow that people had to build tunnels to get out of the house. But now the weather is the typical autumn weather: cold, windy, rainy and foggy.

WEATHER IN MY COUNTRY

weather experiment

In the presentation below there are various activities related to the autumn and winter seasons in Romania. These activities were carried out during this month to give the children in Malta an idea of how our country looks during this period of year.

Activity worked by year 4 children in St. Thomas More College Marsaskala Malta

The children worked in groups to produce a weather chart showing the daily temperature and the type of clothes we wear during this period of year. The ppt below shows some photos of this activity which was worked in class during the week as from 30th November 2009 till 4th December 2009.

Weather Charts

Some year 4 children prepared some information about winter in Malta. The children worked in class on this topic and from the information gathered they produced these short notes about winter in their country.
